we decided to head on another family roadtrip this year after the successful trip we had last year. i do have a blog from last year with a few hints and tips on travelling long distances with little ones which you can read here.
prior to this trip i did also share a heap of info on how we do it on my instagram stories, which i have now saved in my highlights for you to check out if you were curious, but here are a few of my best tips:
-lolly pops keep kids quiet for at least 5 mins haha
-buy a plastic cereal container from the supermarket and line it with a small plastic bag, and you have in instant car bin!
-snacks are life. sultanas, muesli bars, popcorn and fruit are all great options!!
-you cant beat a plain paper journal and a small pencil case - the drawings they came up with were amazing and a real keepsake!
-we had sticker books and activity books galore, and all only cost $1 or $2 from the local party shop.
-when all else fails, resort to a movie on the ipad lol!
